They are simply pineapples…avec chocolat
Eating fruits are always recommended after every meal. In some cultures like the French, you have fruits or/and salads before the meal. Which ever comes first, pineapples are an amazing natural tasty fruit that is juicy and delicious all at the same time. What I most appreciate about this fruit is the ability to cut it into various shapes in stings, slices, strips, pieces, chinks and more. Your imagination can run as wild as mine.
Here is my idea of the good, the great and the delectably edible combo of pineapple rings half dipped in dark chocolate. Even the doctor recommends chocolates so why not with nature’s candy too?
To top it up, we sprinkled each piece with pistachios and almonds. Feel free to substitute with white chocolate, milk chocolate or any chocolate that pricks your desire. With the nuts, you can substitute with chopped mixed nuts or even plain roasted peanuts. Yum yum!!
As you can see, this is easy, simple and quick. I sliced the pineapples in rings, removed the core. I melted the chocolate in the microwave and dipped one side of the pineapples in chocolate. Sprinkle the nuts and place in the fridge. Keep refrigerated for about 2hours and dessert is fully served. It could be bitter- sweet if it is dark chocolate but what is not to love right? My point exactly. Every single bitter-sweet taste is always going to be a fruity experience for you, me and anyone. Don’t forget to share. It’s always a pleasure when you do. Bon appetite.
